Common Knowledge has been working with Defenders of Wildlife since 2005, on a wide range of strategic, web design and infrastructure, data integration, and e-fundraising and e-commerce initiatives. Common Knowledge is the principal architect of a new generation of Defender’s primary web sites (501(C)3 and 501(C)4), issue and political candidate advocacy campaign sites, and specialized giving and e-commerce sites.

Common Knowledge is proud to have helped launch the Let California Ring website, part of the Equality California Institute’s campaign. The Let California Ring campaign is a project of Equality California Institute, working in a diverse coalition of to implement this public education campaign. EQCAI engaged Common Knowledge to launch a website that promotes a diverse coalition of over 45 national, state and local organizations, and share the many stories that are making the campaign a success. An important goal was to showcase the variety of partners and provide frequently updated content. The website is a hub for the online portion of the campaign, and also supports and promotes the broadcast and field organizing campaign components. Common Knowledge Senior Consultant Davey Gerhard worked with EQCA to provide web and newsletter design, and Kintera implementation. As of February 2008, the Let California Ring website has garnered over 16,000 petition signers from 59,000 visits and 46,000 unique visitors.
