Our Team

Patrick had been freelancing for several years with Common Knowledge and came on board full time in 2007. In 1997, setting up the website for the seminal East Bay punk rock record label, Lookout Records, he became interested in the potential of the internet. He enjoys applying the DIY (Do It Yourself) ethic from the punk community to web development, and has compiled a very diverse web development toolkit. Patrick is the lead programmer responsible for all HTML/CSS/Javascript/PHP and database projects at Common Knowledge. Patrick will provide production services (coding) for emails, web site, ads, and external custom programming requirements. Patrick has over 15 years of programming experience focused primarily on web site development over the last ten years. Patrick has worked with most of the Common Knowledge clients and with a host of other nonprofits before joining the CK team.

Though not directly involved in music business anymore, he has been known to do the occasional album art or T-shirt design for indie bands. Patrick has been in several variously unknown bands. Though he still plays guitar and bass, he considers himself a retired musician. He is also a soccer fanatic.

Patrick has a degree in electrical engineering & computer science from U.C. Berkeley.
