Norman Reiss | Senior Consultant

The newest addition to Common Knowledge (February 2010), Norman has worked extensively with nonprofits since 2000.  Bridging skills in technology, communications and development, Norman enables nonprofit organizations to raise funds online, and attract / engage constituents using ePhilanthropy strategies.

At the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, he generated over $15 million in online revenues. Norman also implemented a web version of an offline curriculum at the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship and directed technology and online strategies at Cross-Cultural Solutions, an organization promoting international volunteerism.

Norman frequently leads / participates in conference panels / webinars on ephilanthropy and online strategies.  He is a member of the Internet Strategy Forum, Nonprofit Technology Network, Not for Profit Webmaster Round Table, and Project Management Institute.

He earned an MBA in Finance from Baruch College and a BS in Accounting / Computer Science from Brooklyn College.  He is also a certified project management professional (PMP).

Norman lives with his wife and two dogs in Westchester County, NY, where he regularly swims, enjoys music and frequent walks by the water.
